You’re a God who makes all things new. Not only that, but You delight in doing it. You meet us where we are, whether we are far enough to see only darkness or close enough to touch. You meet us exactly where we are at the moment and never fail to give us a clean slate. All we need to do is ask. We are a generation in which God has broken our chains but we keep putting them back on. We are a generation that is broken with guilt—-this guilt that is never from God but from our enemy. We are a generation that has forgotten this jealous love of a King. We are a generation that has forgotten that we were created to love. We forget You are not a king who sits on the Mount of Zion but you are a King from heaven who has disfigured Himself as a human because You are a God who loves to be with the ones You love. So as we discover, lose, and rediscover this love that surpasses knowledge, speak sweet words to us, hold unto us, and never let us go.
You make all things new.
